Backgammon Guru and Guru Pro versions feature attractive backgammon boards and support natural checker movement where both dragging and tapping are supported. You can play against the computer or with a friend.

Guru & Guru Pro support standard Backgammon as well as HyperGammon. They will also allow you to set up any desired position for play and analysis.

Guru & Guru Pro will answer your "what-if" questions, like what if there was a specific roll in a specific position and whats the best possible move there.

In the default Player-Tutor mode, e.g. when you are playing against a master-strength AI, Backgammon Guru & Guru Pro will allow you to substitute a random roll with any specific roll of your choice. You will be able to take back and replay multiple moves as Backgammon Guru & Guru Pro support unlimited undo functionality.

Backgammon Guru Pro version will analyze your match and color-code your errors in a move list. With Backgammon Guru Pro you will be able to navigate your move list interactively and see where you could have played better. You can also email the match to yourself for further analysis.

While Backgammon Guru Pro by default continuosly shows the equity graph, in Backgammon Guru you would also be able to see, upon request, the statistical chances and best possible moves in any position.

Backgammon Guru Pro supports 4 different skill levels, multi-point matches, doubling, Crawford rule.

Both Guru & Guru Pro indicate pip count for players, support long moves, sound effects and multiple other options.

As opposed to Backgammon Guru, Backgammon Guru Pro version has no ads and offers many more options.

Some bad moments

My first time playing this game it crashed 4 times in a row. NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!

Ive played it for 10 times to be sure that you will never be able to win because of dices, when the black side seems to lose it becomes 5-5, 6-6 for more than 3 or 4 times and you are having little dices like 1-2, 2-3 if your stone is broken and if there are even 4 space to place it, your dices never comes as what you want, once a time I waited for 6 round to get in to any of 3 space. So this app is f.cking useless they are cheating on dices so much

Must user friendly, but count on being extremely frustrated and annoyed but the incredible amount of double sixes and other double numbers, especially as the pieces come off the board. This is continuos and I wish they would fix it.

The game allows illegal moves. It crashes constantly when changing settings. The expert level isnt smarter it just gets more doubles so it trains you to play too conservatively. Bee poky.

Really fun and great tutorials. If you havent played Backgammon this game makes it a great time to start.

The dice throws are not random and app buggy. Also most prior reviews look suspicious.
